LUNCH & LEARN:

Fire Alarm System Network and Emergency Communications

Emergency Communication Systems (ECS) and Networked Fire Alarm Systems often present as many challenges to the end user as they do solutions. Network security, budget constraints, project timelines and integration of a variety of brands and technologies can stop a project before it even starts.

In this session we will discuss a practical approach to implementing this technology in phases and over time as budget and schedules will permit. We will also address the new and sometimes controversial Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRC) / Bid Directional Amplifiers (BDA) technology and code requirements. Don Austin, Regional Sales Manager for Notifier, will be joining us as the presenter for this Lunch & Learn.

What we will cover:

  • Campus fire alarm networking technology and capabilities
  • Monitoring multiple fire alarm panels from different manufacturers
  • Advancements in Emergency Communication Systems (ECS) technology
  • In-Building Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRC) and Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA)
  • Product Demonstrations

If you play a role in the safety of students, faculty and staff during and after an on-campus emergency, you won’t want to miss this program.
